General Description of Project Goals and Learning Outcomes

Below are the potential cases for Spring 2019. I am only giving you a title this year and will let you develop your case yourself.

• Develop some isssue around your topic
• Write an introduction paragraph this week.
• Prepare a spanish translation via google translate.
• Submit your title, introduction and translation in canvas.
• Note this does not need to be your final introduction. Just something to get started on. We expect you will expand the content of your project as the semester progresses.
• Keep in mind that everything is to be based on issues in Mexico, not the U.S. However information from class or US sources can be used but should be adapted to the problems in Mexico.

1. Frozen equine semen importation to Mexico and its use.
2. Frozen canine semen importation to Mexico and its use.
3. Conservation of large cats in Mexico. For example this might be the jaguar or puma.
4. Conservation of Mexican wolf.
5. Conservation of gray whale in Mexican waters.
6. Limit reproduction of zoo animals and how this has been applied in Mexican Zoos.
7. Management of mares for natural breeding or with cooled semen within Mexico.
8. Choices and types of human contraception in Mexico.
9. Suggest a topic.
